Well, chugging right along. I decided today that I would speed up my treadmill work just a little. I always run at 5 but today I did 5.3. Yes, a wimpy .3 increase but "slow and steady...". I also added the 1/2 mile that Hal Higdon said to add making it a 3.5 mile run and .5 mile walk. I did manage to run the whole thing at the slightly higher speed. For some reason it is easier for me to run faster outside than on the treadmill, probably just in my mind. |
